Hello! Here is the new Translator tool with the English files for those who want to translate the program into some other language. Please , check this forum before beginning a new translation to avoid duplicates. If you are about to begin a new translation, please start a thread with the name of the language as the subject, again,to avoid unnecessary duplicates. ** DO NOT translate to Spanish. I am already working on a translation myself. ** I may begin a translation to Swedish and Russian myself when I'm done with the spanish one, but if you feel like starting one of those, go ahead. If no swedish or russian translation are on their way when I'm done with the spanish one I'll start it myself. The Translator is available HEREEdit 2/14/10 by Glenn: See Cobian 10 Tools/Translator for lastest version of translator tool.

Hi. I'm waiting for a final release (or maybe just for the next beta) to make the italian translation. In the meantime could you please make the Translator to automatically position to the next row once you've entered a translation? This way you don't have to press Down and Enter keys everytime. It's just a suggestion but it could save us some time :) Thanks

Hi. And could you please make an option in Translator that if activated requires one press of Enter instead of twice (one for accept changes and moving to the next line and another one to enter edit mode). This way I could hit Enter one time and immediately begin the next line translation.

Will multiple "%s" parameters be showed as written-order?
I can change the order of parameters if they are numbered-parameter (like %1, %2, etc.)
A few translations are little strange because of thier order in some language. (But negligible problem -> this cases occured 1-2 times in whole translation works.)
For example,
Testing the file %s(1) stored in %s(2) -> %s(2)에 저장된 파일 %s(1)을 검사하고 있습니다
I translate the above statements like below
파일 %s(1)을 저장된 %s(2)에서 검사하고 있습니다
It's not bad but unnatural.
Thank you anyway.

Hello Cobian, when you change language in the Task menu, the commands "Force full (All)" and "Full Force (Selected)" remain in English.
If the translation exists, it should pick those lines up. If it's shown in english, then, those lines don't exist in the current language.

Yes, it's very important to have the same order (if the paramters are different, for example if there is %s and %d, the translation MUST be this way: %s %d and not %d %s). If the parameters are of the same type (like %s %s the order is not important).

a general remark
when I did the last translation, I noticed very many duplicate entries. this creates lots of extra work. what I mean is, that even if different program parts use the same options, components, they should use the same translation line (to maintain consistency! else it will cause that same words are translated differently in different program parts.)
well, just an idea for cobian 11 ;-)

I try, but it's not always so easy. The same strings may mean different things and some of them may be changed without affecting the other ones.
