Hello and welcome to Cobian's site!

This is the official page of Cobian Backup (up to version 11, Gravity), the popular freeware backup tool.

Back in 2013 I sold the source code to James Sweeney, who is the new owner of all new versions of the program (after version 11).  I retain the rights to distribute and support any version I created myself, i.e. up to Gravity.

If you have questions about Cobian Backup, please read the Help file and the FAQ first, and if you don't find the answer to your question there, post it to the new support forum and perhaps you'll get an answer or two from the community.

While the program is freeware, even when used in commercial environments, feel free to visit the Donations page to help keep this site up and running. Thank you!
